This is a bolt-on kit that allows you to remove all of the PAIR equipment without pounding freeze plugs into your head.
There are six air holes in your heads that get plugged up, two underneath and four on top. The underside holes get the two 3/16" thick stainless steel blind flanges, two flexible graphite gaskets, and four zinc plated bolts (in case you lost yours). The top four holes get all the shiny things.
Each topside hole gets a chrome plated steel plug, show-chrome finish. For each plug there is a chrome plated steel bracket, and a white teflon pad to restrain the plug. Each plug comes with a white teflon rub and a Viton-GF o-ring. Two of the brackets use a metal spacer; they "step up" to hold their plugs, and for these ones some zinc plated bolts are included (in case you lost your chrome bolts). The other two brackets step down from the intake manifolds, and you use your existing chrome bolts.
The brackets are chrome plated like the original Honda bracket. One of the pictures shows a comparison.
Each white teflon bracket pad can be adjusted for pressure on the plug, by inserting one stainless steel shim. Most bikes will not need these shims, but who knows, maybe yours does.
A 7 piece plug is included to cover the airbox nipple, which is liberated when you remove the pair valve. The plug is designed to not cause any damage to the airbox nipple in the event somebody tightens the hardware unreasonably tight. The airbox is made of polypropylene with 30% talc, and the nipples in particular are weaker than they look.
Two little vacuum caps are included to cover the intake ports, which are liberated when you remove the pair valve vacuum line. These are Red Eye Viton-B vacuum caps, with the Happy Fingers style spring clamps.
